San Simeon Cove
by Sally Seago

Tranquil San Simeon Cove, a few miles north of Cambria near Hearst Castle, was crowded with trading schooners and whaling ships in the 1800's, and later was part of the Hearst domain. The Squibb House
by Ted Harpainter

The Squibb House, here bedecked in seasonal finery, was built in 1876 and is on the National Register of Historic Places. From 1953 to the early '80's it was the home of beloved community activists Paul and Louise Squibb. It is now a meticulously restored bed and breakfast inn on Cambria's Burton Drive. http://squibbhouse.com
