Need some fun activities for the
children? Try these.
Cut
shamrock shapes from a large piece of plain white card. Pour a little
blue and yellow paint onto each shape and let kids mix the colors with
their fingers. The blue and yellow mix and turn bright green!
Take
a clean Bell pepper and cut it across horizontally and clean out the
seeds. Dip the pepper in green paint and print onto paper - it gives a
lovely shamrock shape.
Take
a plain white paper plate and paint or crayon it green on one side and
various colors on the other side. When the paint is dry begin cutting
from the outside of the plate into the center. If you cut very
carefully you'll be left with a spiral effect. Design a head and tail
and attach them to the top and bottom of the spiral. You now have a
fully grown Irish snake!! Hang the snakes around the house and wait
for St. Patrick to banish them forever!!
