Sea Girls shared a video for their latest track, Hometown.
Originally premiered on BBC Radio 1 in November, the track will appear on the band’s second studio album, “Homesick”, which will be released on March 25 via Polydor Records. It follows previously unveiled cuts, Again Again and Sick.
The clip, meanwhile, shows footage from the band’s recent concert at London’s O2 Academy Brixton. Singer Henry Camamile said:
“Each hometown has its own identity – all of them are exciting and rewarding to visit for different reasons. We made this video from footage from a show from the tour – this is just one of those special stories. We want to be part of your story, you are already part of ours. “
He added, “Hometown is one of the most important songs I’ve ever written. It’s about people I knew growing up who aren’t here anymore. I say ‘I see you’ – c ‘is a nod to them. grateful for life and I am not going to compromise it in any way. “
They also confirmed an intimate UK store performance for the month of May, to celebrate the LP’s release. Stops include Manchester, Liverpool, Preston, Dundee, Sheffield, Bristol, Bournmouth, Kingston and Nottingham. Tickets are on sale now.
They will also appear at next year’s Live At Leeds, the Isle of Wight festival, Y Not? Festival and Kendal Calling.
