If you’re looking for a safe and friendly space for your family to spend a morning, plan a visit to SEA LIFE Michigan and the LEGOLAND Discovery Center.
During Sensory Mornings, LEGOLAND Discovery Center Michigan and SEA LIFE Michigan dim lights, turn off music and turn off distracting stimuli for one hour before opening to the general public to allow guests greater comfort while visiting. Sensory adults are welcome during sensory mornings with no children (16 or under) in the party until the attraction opens to the general public. The friendly sensory mornings will take place from April 26 to 28 from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. Discounted tickets are also available for customers at this time.
LEGOLAND Michigan Discovery Center is the ultimate indoor LEGO playground (there’s also a real playground). Your tour begins with an interactive look at how LEGOs are made and a chance to design your own. Then you can ride a chariot to rescue the princess on the Kingdom Quest ride and later take to the skies on Merlin’s Apprentice Ride. Children of all ages and interests will have a choice of where to play:
- The barnyard-themed Duplo Toddler Zone
- LEGO Friends Heart Lake City
- Build and test a racing area
- Adventures under the sea
- Creative Workshop
SEA LIFE Michigan is Michigan’s largest aquarium and will leave your little ones in awe as they spot more than 250 species, including sharks, rays, seahorses and more, in 12 interactive exhibits. Experience hands-on learning in the interactive touch pool and find out where you’ll find aquatic marine life in bodies of water around the world. The underwater ocean tunnel will fascinate and remind children of popular Pixar movies Finding Nemo/Dory.
